Tru-Vision Clothing announced Partnership with STC Educational and Leadership Fund (SELF)
For every “Fine Gyal Made in Liberia” shirt sold in July and August, Tru-Vision Clothing will donate 20 percent of the total earnings to STC Educational and Leadership Fund (SELF) for the purpose of helping girls in Liberia.
Largo, MD –July 24, 2012 – In an effort to help create a bright future for girls in Liberia, Tru-Vision is partnering with STC Educational and Leadership Fund for the organization’s annual summer event. The event is “Friskies Fest” and all of the proceeds from the event will go to support the organization’s flagship leadership and mentoring program for girls in Liberia.
Friskies Fest is an annual summer event sponsored by the STC Education and Leadership Fund (SELF), a national nonprofit organization formed by US based Alumnae of ST. Teresa’s Convent Catholic (STC) High School, an all girl’s high school located in Monrovia, Liberia. Held during the first or second weekend in of August each year, Friskies Fest is a symbolic celebration of female education, empowerment, and leadership in the Liberian community
